A chat app. I first built it in Java as MoonMeet-Android, then rewrote it in React Native as MoonMeet-CrossPlatform. It's open source and listed in the React Native Paper showcase.

What I built

  • The Java version used Firebase Realtime Database and Storage, Glide and CameraX.
  • I rebuilt it in React Native in 2021 and migrated it to TypeScript in 2022.
  • It runs on React Native Firebase: Auth, Firestore, Storage, App Check, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring.
  • I released it on Google Play in September 2022.
